About the Event:
First time in Pune trek organize for donation to Blind students!!
“DISHA Trek To Donate” Organized by
India Treks for a social cause.
Disha is a fundraiser event for blind people.
In this event we will be taking blind students for a trek.
The participants fees will be donated
to blind institute on event day by all participants.
A golden opportunity to take a step ahead for blind students,
also need your support to encourage others to be
a part of this social cause. Let’s be a part
to make this world a happy place “we can't help everyone,
but everyone can help someone”.
Raireshwar Fort
Region: Bhor
Difficulty: Easy
Approximate Duration: 2 hours
Raireshwar is a place of historical importance that
is located towards the south west of Pune near Bhor.
This is a beautiful place to visit during the monsoon
or winter season. The breath-taking views and the
feeling of untouched nature is just mind blowing.
Ideal place for a one-day trek and can also
be made a two-day trek if you plan to visit Rohida and Kenjalgad.
What to see at Raireshwar:
Raireshwar Mandir
This is the temple where Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj took the oath of Swarajya.
It is said that he cut his little finger and took
the oath by dripping blood on the shivling inside the temple.
Gomukh LakeAswal Lake - Also known as NakhindaPandav Leni.
Itinerary:
05:00 am- Nigdi -Below Flyover
05:15 am- Chinchwad- Petrol Pump
05:40 am- Shivajinagar- Kalaniketan Corner
05:50 am- Swargate – Bus Stand entrance gate
06:05 am- Katraj Dairy
07:30 am- Breakfast and Tea
09:30 am- Reach Raireshwar base village
09:40 am- After introduction start trek
11:30 am- Reach at top. Explore the fort
12:15 pm- Disha Program
12.55 pm - Lunch on fort
02:15 pm- Start descending
03:30 pm- Depart for Pune with tea en-route.
07:30 pm- Reach Pune (+/- 1Hr.)
